This would actually be kinda cool to own…
“At the Sea Star Aquarium in Coburg, Germany, Otto the octopus became annoyed by the bright light shining into his aquarium and discovered he could extinguish it by climbing onto the rim of his tank and squirting a jet of water in its direction, short-circuiting it.
“Aquarium staff also caught him juggling the hermit crabs in his tank.”
This is exactly why I want an octopus for a pet. Or, rather, for a friend.
“A large female Octopus cyanea was observed in Palau, Micronesia… A small male followed and mated with her 12 times over a 3.5 hour period while she continued to forage for food. After the 13th mating, she attacked and suffocated him and spent 2 days cannibalizing him in her den.”
LET THIS BE A LESSON TO US ALL

Hey! If a European swallow can’t carry coconuts, and the African swallow is non-migratory… It must have been an octopus!!
