Kidneys
So, now it looks like someone else from my friend Joe’s apartment has been admitted to the hospital with kidney issues, so it may be something environmental.  Not that that’s any better news for him, but at least the doctors are narrowing down what the issue is.

wakinupinmaine: risebeatrice: mastodonstorm: all the good guys are either taken by skanky undeserving sluts, or are gay. YOUR DAILY SLICE OF TRUTH. ATTENTION WOMEN: Good guys are out there, but on a surface inspection they probably seem boring compared to the assholes you’ve been dating.  Look a little harder and you’ll see nice guys all over the place

kidneys are kind of important
Those of my followers who like to talk to the Big Guy, I’d appreciate it if you’d shoot a prayer His way for my friend Joe.  He went to the hospital yesterday for kidney failure; the doctors aren’t sure of the cause, and their treatments so far haven’t been successful. He’s 25. I’m praying that God will meet him in a personal way during all this. Thanks so...

Why Dwight Schrute is Good for Business →
“A team of like-minded people sharing like-minded opinions behind a closed door — the dreaded groupthink — has produced some of history’s worst ideas… It’s better to bring in at least one new face or dissenting voice to shake things up and challenge a few assumptions.” via mpstearns

Why the Manager’s Schedule Blows Creative... →

Makers–-the writers, coders, designers, editors, creative types–-need half or whole days to produce anything that solves complicated problems. Managers schedule out their workdays in hour-long blocks. When managers schedule makers into midday meetings, they kill...
